Elise Priestley is a London and Manchester based Makeup and Hair Artist working across Film, Television, and Fashion. Born in the United States and raised in California before relocating to London, where she has lived for over 12 years, she brings a distinct transatlantic perspective to her work, combining technical precision with a refined editorial eye.
After graduating from the prestigious Delamar Academy with advanced training in makeup and hair, Elise began her career in Film and Television before transitioning into Fashion, where she found her creative focus. She has assisted internationally recognised artists such as Thomas De Kluyver and Ammy Drammeh, contributing to their core teams on global shows and campaigns for brands including Gucci and Chanel. Also contributing to product development and forecasting.
Alongside this, Elise has established herself as a department head and key artist, leading hair and makeup teams and creating seasonal beauty direction for international fashion brands. Her work spans campaigns, editorials, and red carpet, where she is known for her ability to merge beauty with storytelling and contemporary trend.
At the core of her work is a deep appreciation for skin. Elise believes that beautiful makeup begins with skin that looks real, considered, and luminous, approaching each look with a focus on texture, tone, and finish to enhance natural beauty rather than mask it.
Deeply inspired by art, culture, and everyday life, Elise approaches makeup as both craft and expression. Her aesthetic is shaped by a balance of modern refinement and creative instinct, allowing her to bring a distinctive perspective to every project.
She continues to collaborate with leading brands, publications, and talent, building a body of work defined by creativity, precision, and an evolving point of view.
